Pronouns: he/him/his
Christopher Rozario was most recently the proud school leader at KIPP: Academy of Innovation, where he has spent the last three years! He moved to Los Angeles in 2022, by way of Dallas, Texas. Christopher was born and raised in what is known as The City Too Busy to Hate: Atlanta, Georgia. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership, both of which are from Kennesaw State University (about 20 miles northwest of Atlanta). In the Metropolitan Atlanta area, Christopher worked for the third largest school district in the state of Georgia and taught elementary school for seven years prior to serving as an assistant principal for three years. It is the same school district that produced Christopher’s K-12 education, which became a full circle moment filled with pride.
In the summer of 2019, Christopher accepted a role with KIPP: Texas as a district testing coordinator in Dallas, then went on to serve KIPP: Truth Elementary as interim school leader for a year and a half during the height of COVID-19. While Christopher enjoyed his experience serving the South Oak Cliff, Dallas community, he and his husband (Jaiden) decided that
California would be a much better place for them to begin family planning. In addition to his first love of teaching, Christopher enjoys reading, cooking, all things reality television and housewives, and bike riding.
