Pronouns: she/her

Jill Gulick has been a teacher-leader in the area of Special Education for well over two decades. She has taught in nonpublic, private, and public schools across Southern California, teaching students in Special Day Class, Resource, and Specialized Academic settings. For the past seven years, she has been a mentor with California State University, Los Angeles, Pacific Oaks College and is currently working as the Coordinator for the Teacher Residency Program to the West San Gabriel Valley SELPA. She believes her most important role in education has been that of a mentor as she is developing the next generation of “change makers.”

Jill currently resides in Southern California with her husband, two sons, and canine children. John, her husband, teaches Middle School Math, Science, and Technology for San Marino Unified School District. Matthew, her oldest son, just graduated from Creighton University this May, and Ryan, her youngest son, is eagerly anticipating his Senior year. Millie and Bear, her two dogs (of which she had no choice in adopting) are often the topic of conversation as they notoriously bring added chaos into the start of every school year!
