CEO and Co-founder, Clearmatrix

José Ferrel is the CEO and Co-founder of Clearmatrix, a consulting firm specializing in AI adoption, digital workplace transformation, and IT enablement. He brings over 16 years of experience leading technology teams and transformation initiatives across both mission-driven and high-growth companies.

Prior to founding Clearmatrix, José held senior technology leadership roles at Netflix and Riot Games, where he focused on scaling global IT operations, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and designing more intuitive, people-centered technology environments. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for bridging technical innovation with human impact, championing the development of systems and tools that enable teams to work smarter, move faster, and deliver with purpose.

A first-generation college graduate, José holds a BA in International Relations with a minor in Italian from Stanford University. He is a frequent speaker on digital transformation and AI readiness, including engagements at SAMS Europe, Digital Business Transformation, and the LA Latino Chamber of Commerce. His work has been featured in Hispanic Executive and other platforms highlighting empathetic thought leadership in technology.

José is deeply committed to inclusive innovation and workforce empowerment. Fluent in Spanish and Italian, he brings a global perspective to his work and board service. He currently serves on the Finance and Governance Committees of the Alder Graduate School of Education Board of Directors.
