In her 26 years as an educator, Kalei Eskridge has had the privilege to work with students, teachers, administrators, district leaders, and other support staff in a variety of settings ranging from preschool through college in Sacramento, California. She has been an Elementary Classroom Teacher, a TOSA supporting Curriculum & Instruction and Technology Services, a mentor and coach for new teachers in Induction, and, most recently, supporting the growth and reflection of veteran practitioners in the System of Professional Growth as a Peer Facilitator in San Juan Unified. She is passionate about supporting teacher growth, teacher retention, and helping colleagues strengthen their instruction to impact student learning. She has copresented at several ASCD national conferences with her San Juan colleagues and with Dr. Debra Pickering of Marzano Research Laboratory about effective instruction using technology and evaluation as a growth model.

Educational degrees include a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University–Sacramento and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. In her free time, Kalei likes to read, cook, spend time with her family and friends, and dance hula.
