Yazmin Martin is the Coordinator for the Lindsay Teacher Residency Program. Yazmin has over ten years experience in education. She has taught Kindergarten and Grades One, Two, Three, and Seven.

After being a Classroom Teacher and Lead Teacher for the K2 Team in her school, Yazmin continued her career as a K8 Instructional Design and Delivery Specialist for her district. In this role, Yazmin mentored teachers in classroom management, analyzing student data, lesson design, assessment building, creation of personalized learning plans for students, and development of student-centered classrooms. Yazmin then became a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist. In this role, Yazmin provided professional development to all teachers on the various programs, curricula, and goals of the district. Yazmin created and revised district benchmarks, assessments, and scope and sequence for core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies) and dual program (Spanish Language Arts) that aligned to the state standards to keep up with the rigorous regular education of the district.
