Tracy Lewis is a relationship-focused administrator and educational leader, firmly committed to the success of children while leading through Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access. With over twenty years of experience in the field of education, serving five years as a Daycare Provider, ten years as a Classroom Teacher, and six years as a Site Administrator, Ms. Lewis holds experience across many educational sectors. She has collaborated with the Yale National Initiative and facilitated professional development sessions with the Silicon Valley Mathematics Initiative. Recognized for challenging the status quo and for facilitating processes to move parents and staff through an inquiry cycle to resolve issues, she continues to earn awards and recognition for her work in education, including Teacher of the Year and a featured segment on the Inside Mathematics website.

Ms. Lewis is a strong advocate and mentor for building and supporting Teacher Leaders as they grow in their practice and educational influence. Ms. Lewis earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development at California State University–East Bay. She continued her education at Mills College in Oakland, California, where she earned a Master’s degree in Education. Ms. Lewis is excited to serve and join the team at ACOE and continue to implement innovative and dynamic strategies for student success, equity, and inclusion.
