PATHWAYS INTO TEACHING

Exploring a career in the classroom? Join us for a 30 minute virtual panel where you’ll get to hear from four programs/ organizations about different pathways into teaching. Panelists will share information on earning your teaching credential and Masters, admissions, training and academic support, finances, and more before taking questions from the audience.

MY LIFE AT ALDER: CURRENT RESIDENT AND ALUMNI EXPERIENCE

Join us for a short 30 minute virtual panel where you’ll get to hear directly from a current Alder Graduate School of Education resident and from an alumna. They’ll discuss their experiences with Alder’s model, the impact they had on students, and how the residency continues to impact their current work.

IMPACTING THE EDUCATION SECTOR AS A BLACK TEACHER AND LEADER

Join us to hear a discussion about the importance, the impact, and the opportunities available for black educators and leaders in the education sector. Panelists will share a little about their journeys into the education sector and how their identity is shaping how they lead.

MY LIFE AT ALDER: OUR MENTOR MODEL IN ACTION

Get an inside look at one of the most critical components of our program- our mentor model. A current resident and their mentor will share what their experiences have been so far with our mentor model and how it’s contributed to their professional developments. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask our panelists questions.
