What degree did you earn? BA in History with an emphasis in U.S. History

What inspired you to teach? I have a deep calling to serve underprivileged or misunderstood children. I want to provide a better education than I was afforded, and I want to change children’s lives for the better.

Why did you choose Alder’s Teacher Residency program? I chose Alder’s Teacher Residency program because I believe it is valuable and necessary to teach a prospective teacher how to teach. I feel that this program is a huge investment in a teacher’s career that only sets them up for success. I also like how supportive the program is.
