David Roth is Alder GSE’s Managing Director, Technology and Impact. He began his career teaching computer science and mathematics with San Francisco Unified and Envision Education. After a short stint in nonprofit IT consulting, he returned to education at Aspire Public Schools, where he held progressively responsible roles culminating as Senior Director, Data and Systems. At Aspire, David was responsible for facilitating data-driven action and led teams responsible for information management, engineering, research and analytics, and assessment. He holds a BS in Software Engineering from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and an MEd from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
