Eduardo Rodriguez began his role as an educator during the time he was both an intern and a site supervisor at Global Connect at UCI, an educational partnership. It focuses on teaching the curriculum in international studies to California’s secondary school students. Upon receiving his undergraduate degree, Eduardo relocated to his hometown in South Central Los Angeles, where he held the role of Instructional Assistant at Aspire Pacific Academy and taught ELD and ESL curriculum to secondary students. In his role as an educator, he has used data to improve learning strategies and the existing academic curriculum, and he has made lasting ties with fellow Aspire Public Schools educators. Eduardo is a first-generation college graduate and received his Bachelor’s from the University of California, Irvine, where he majored in Criminology, Law and Society, with a minor in Social Ecology.
