Gloria Hassel started her career in public education as an elementary teacher in Merced County Schools. After teaching seven years, she served as an Assistant Principal and a Principal for over 19 years. During the early part of 2007, Gloria became a Consultant with the Education Consultant Group based in the Bay Area. She provided professional development support to Northern California school principals and their staffs. Most recently, Gloria worked at Aspire Public Schools for three years as the Director of Principal Residency. She currently serves Alder Graduate School of Education as the Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Gloria earned her Master’s degree in Education from Chapman University, an Administrative Services Credential from California State University, Stanislaus, and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University, San Diego.
