Jessica Dykes is one of the Directors of Alder Graduate School of Education’s Teacher Residency in Hemet, California. Jessica started her teaching career in Arizona, primarily teaching fifth grade. After moving back to California, Jessica started teaching sixth-grade math and science in Hemet, California. During this time, she worked as Math Department Chair, site-level Lead Teacher, AVID Site Team, and PBIS Co-coordinator. She was a Mentor Teacher for an Alder resident as well. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, San Diego, and obtained her Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. She earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University.
