Trustee, Tandem Philanthropies

Kathleen Donohue is co-founder of Tandem Philanthropies, an organization that focuses on discovery, innovation and leadership to address the pressing issues of our time. In the education space, Tandem supports emerging models and talent development that shift systems towards more learner-centered approaches. A clinical psychologist with a focus on classrooms and schools, for nearly a decade she served on the faculty at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Education and Department of Psychology. She is the past chair of the board at the Nueva School, a trustee of Silicon Schools and the American Conservatory Theater, and an ambassador for KIPP Northern California. She received her BA from Yale University and her MA and PhD from UC Berkeley.
