Keeva began her career in education in Pittsburg Unified School District. Since 2007, she has remained in PUSD supporting scholars in a variety of roles. She has served in the role of Special Education Preschool Aide, substitute teacher, Second-Grade Teacher, and most recently as an Early Literacy Coach.

Keeva earned her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a Dance Option from California State University–East Bay. She earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CalStateTEACH, Monterey Bay. She later returned to CSU East Bay to earn her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administrative Credential. Keeva is currently pursing a doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice from CSU East Bay.
