Kimberly is one of the Directors of the Alder Graduate School of Education’s Teacher Residency in Hemet, California. Kimberly started her teaching career as a Sixth-Grade English and Social Studies Teacher. During this time, she was the Social Studies department chair, part of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Program site team, a member of the Advancement via Individual Determination Program site team, and coached boys and girls volleyball. Kimberly then moved to the elementary level to teach fifth grade. During her time in fifth grade, she was the grade-level lead and an Alder Mentor. Kimberly loved being a mentor teacher so much that she applied as soon as she saw the opening to become a director. Kimberly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California–Riverside. She obtained my Teaching Credential and a Master’s in Teaching and Technology from Azusa Pacific University.
