Project Facilitator, Desert Sands USD Teacher Residency at Alder GSE

Mindy Larson was born and raised in southern California. She attended UCLA, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and teaching credential. She later attended California State University, San Bernardino, where she received a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Mindy has spent time in elementary, middle schools, and high schools over the course of her career, with the bulk of her classroom experience as a high school social-studies teacher. She has experience as an Induction Coach, Magnet Grant Coordinator, Project Teacher, AP Coordinator, and Department Chair. In her spare time, Mindy loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. She enjoys reading, sports, and travel.
