Perla Ramirez was born in Ventura, California and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is a first-generation college graduate from California State University–Los Angeles. She earned her BS in Computer Science in May 2022. As an undergrad, Perla interned with the i.am. Angel Foundation assisting with the first Los Angeles Unified District FTC (First Tech Challenge) Regional Championship, a robotics competition for junior high and high school students. She also interned with the nonprofit organization, College Track, as a Peer Advisor who helps incoming freshman at California State–Los Angeles with their transition to college. Perla first joined the Alder team as a Data Intern, where her passion grew in working within the field of education. Continuing her journey at Alder as an Information Systems Specialist, Perla looks forward to administering and improving Alder’s data warehouse.
