Raymond Pun, MLS

Instructional and Research Librarian

Raymond Pun has worked in libraries for over 10 years at various institutions, such as the New York Public Library, New York University Shanghai in the People’s Republic of China, and, most recently, at California State University, Fresno. In these institutions, Ray has served as a reference/instruction librarian and supported digital literacy, student engagement, and community outreach. His professional and research interests include library instruction, sustainability, and scholarly communications. He has published and presented extensively and is an active member of the American Library Association (ALA). Ray is also a doctoral student in the Collaborative Online Doctorate in Educational Leadership (CODEL) program at California State University, a partnership between CSU Fresno and Channel Islands. Ray holds a Master of Library Science from CUNY Queens College, as well as a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. John’s University.
