What Inspired You to Teach? My mom inspired me to teach! My mom has been changing the lives of her students for over 35 years! I appreciate her willingness to connect with all of her scholars and their families. Her spirit and love are contagious. I aspire to be half the teacher my mother is.

Why Did You Choose Alder’s Teacher Residency Program at Aspire Public Schools? I think the program creates a supportive and community-oriented environment in which residents thrive. I value the mentorship model and the program’s willingness to receive feedback in order to improve systems.
