Susan Beeson is the Managing Director of Development at Alder GSE. Prior to joining Alder, Susan was the founding Chief Advancement Officer at Geffen Academy at UCLA, an independent school for grades 6–12 at UCLA. In that role, Susan oversaw all fundraising and development activities, as well as schoolwide events, communications, and parent involvement. Before her time at Geffen Academy, Susan spent ten years in various roles in the Office of Advancement at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles. She began her career as a transactional attorney in Los Angeles before transitioning to development work. Susan earned her Bachelor’s degree from Occidental College, majoring in Politics, with a minor in Spanish. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from the American University Washington College of Law.
