Susanna Loeb is the Director of the Annenberg Institute of School Reform at Brown University. She specializes in education policy, looking particularly at policies and practices that support teachers and school leaders. Her work spans early education, K–12, and higher education. Her recent work focuses particularly on information barriers to teaching improvement and parenting. Susanna is co-director of Policy Analysis for California Education, a member of the National Board for Education Sciences, a senior fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. She holds a Doctorate in Economics and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Civil Engineering from Stanford University.
