Dr. Yadira Perez is a dedicated educational leader with over two decades of experience in public education. She recently served as an Elementary Principal with Lynwood Unified School District, a role she held since 2021. Prior to this, she served as Assistant Principal at Wilson Elementary and Instructional Lead at Will Rogers Elementary, following 15 years as a classroom teacher. Dr. Perez also contributed to educational equity as a Board Member for the Los Angeles Education Partnership from 2021 to 2023. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from the University of Southern California, a Master’s in Reading and Literacy from Walden University, and both a B.A. in Anthropology and BCLAD certification from California State University, Los Angeles. Dr. Yadira Perez is an experienced educator with a strong background in educational leadership and literacy development and is committed to fostering academic growth and equity in education.
