Yuliana has worked in the education field for the past 10 years. She began her teaching career as a Kindergarten Teacher for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Mrs. Soto then transitioned to work for the KIPP SoCal Network, where she worked as a Third-Grade Teacher at KIPP Comienza Community Prep in Huntington Park, California. In her time there, she served as Grade-Level Lead, an ALDER Residency Mentor, and the Third-Grade Regional Math Planner. Mrs. Soto received her Bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University in Liberal Studies with a minor in BCLAD. She received her Master’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s in Instructional Leadership. Mrs. Soto is passionate about teaching, learning and the development of future leaders.
